Baylor Family Medicine at Flower Mound will hold an H1N1 Flu shot clinic Saturday, December 12, from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. Cost will be $20 per person and will be available to everyone over the age of 4. While supplies last!
View Larger MapBaylor Family Medicine at Flower Mound has the H1N1 Vaccine!Because we currently have a limited supply, we are giving it to established patients only who fit into the following high risk categories:
-Pregnant Women
-People who live with or care for children younger than 6 months of age
-Healthcare and Emergency medical service personnel
-Anyone 6 months to 24 years of age
-People aged 25-64 who have chronic health conditions or compromised immune system including: asthma, chronic lung disease (COPD, Cystic Fibrosis), Heart Disease (congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease, congenital heart disease), diabetes, weakened immune system due to disease (cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus).
We are scheduling nurse visits for patients who have been seen within the past year, and the cost is $20 for the administration.
As we get more of the vaccine we will consider giving it to patients who do not fall into these high risk guidelines. We have gotten limited communication about when more vaccine might be available and will update the website when we have more information.

On May 22nd, 2007, Baylor Family Medicine at Flower Mound converted to an electronic medical record system. We are one of the first HealthTexas clinics to upgrade to the new system. We are very excited about this change and the effect it will have on our clinic. Several new features will be the addition of patient photos to the record, the ability to communicate via e-mail, and increased ability to track indicators such as patient blood pressure, cholesterol levels, and weight. We are working hard to make sure that there will be minimal impact on patient flow and we thank you for your patience, understanding and help during this transition.
